Annette Gagliardi: Author and Educator

I live in Minneapolis, Minnesota in the neighborhood where my family has lived for over 30 years. I have spent my adult life working with children, and teaching adults about child development.

I have authored three Focus articles for Family Information Services and have done a variety of professional writing projects. I am one of three authors, along with Lori DuPont and Joanne Foley, of the curriculum: "Raising Children with Roots, Rights and Responsibilities" which celebrates the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child. The Three Betty Goats Griff is my first picture book to be published.

Reading children's stories and picture books has been a very big part of my life since my daughter's and I discovered Beatrix Potter's collection of stories, including The Tale of Peter Rabbit. Potter had such a way with words, and she is one of the authors who have inspired me to attempt to tell a tale.
